Hello fun seekers, dream chasers and colour lovers and welcome to Skip Rope Yarn Co. My name is Cass and I dye yarn, knit things and generally make a huge mess in my home studio in Newcastle, Australia. Knitting, crochet and textile arts is most often passed down between generations and my story is no different. My great-grandmother knit each family member a pair of socks for their birthday every year - they fitted perfectly whether you were turning 8 or 68!

I've turned my eye to hand dyed yarns for a creative outlet and a bit of fun. If you're a beginner or have more advanced skills, I'm here to share the yarn love and can't wait to see what you make!
